We Are Making Big Strides Toward a Tokenized Future

Last week, the New York Stock Exchange announced plans for a 24/7 tokenized securities platform. The plans are not entirely fleshed out, but we do know that it will be on a private blockchain, probably built in-house, and will include stablecoin settlement. The Exchange hopes to launch in late 2026 with regulatory approval.

Elsewhere, the tokenization march continued. South Korea legalized tokenized securities, Binance announced the launch of a tokenized security trading platform, and Superstate—a tokenization platform—raised $80 million in a Series B round.

Key Takeaway: While it’s not yet clear how much of the market for tokenized securities will be on public versus private blockchains, it’s clear that the tokenized future is coming, and fast.
